Sigma Computing to Present at Snowflake Data Cloud Summit 2020

SAN FRANCISCO – October 29, 2020 – Sigma Computing, an innovator in cloud analytics and business intelligence for enterprise teams, is sponsoring the Data Cloud Summit hosted by Snowflake, creator of the Data Cloud, and will speak during the virtual event on Tuesday, November 17 at 1:35 p.m. PST. During the session entitled, “Empower Business Teams to Find Their Own Answers,” Sigma will present how to maximize a Snowflake investment and expand the power of data to the entire company by providing business users with secure, governed access to near real-time data via a spreadsheet-like interface. The session will also showcase new features and demonstrate how Sigma matches the performance and scale of Snowflake.

During this session, Sigma Computing CEO Mike Palmer will share how BI teams can extend the power, security, and governance of Snowflake to the entire company. He will cite real-world examples from high-tech, high-growth companies, like Yesware and Clover Networks, to illustrate how business users can be empowered to run complex analyses live on Snowflake, including marketing campaign attribution and general ledger reconciliation. Attendees will leave the session knowing how to equip business users to find answers on their own for better, faster decisions. Sigma Computing CTO and Co-founder Rob Woollen will demonstrate how to join multiple data sources, curate large data sets, and analyze billions of rows in Sigma — without writing a single line of code.
