Sigma Computing Delivers Direct Data Access and Independent Data Exploration to Marketing Teams, Accelerating Insights and Decisions

SAN FRANCISCO – December 17, 2020 – Sigma Computing, an innovator in cloud analytics and business intelligence, is expanding its support for marketing teams with a new Campaign Performance template and other onboarding resources.

The template enables marketers to get started in Sigma quickly and easily navigate from dashboard to independent data exploration without assistance from data analysts. The company’s commitment to helping marketers discover new, powerful insights and comprehensive support for Marketing use cases, including Attribution and ROI, Campaign Performance, and Customer Journey 360, has earned Sigma recognition from Snowflake as an elite technology partner for Marketing Analytics. “Sigma is deeply committed to helping business teams access and explore data whenever they have a question,” said Snowflake Director of Product Marketing Ganesh Subramanian. “With Snowflake and Sigma, Marketers can easily combine data from their MarTech stack for a single view of the customer journey and analyze that data via a familiar, spreadsheet-like interface. Marketers will now be able to answer their own questions to quickly improve decisions, optimize resources, and maximize ROI.”

Sigma for Marketing Analytics

Rather than be dependent on static, high-level dashboards built by another team that often generate more questions than they answer or cobbling together data in a spreadsheet from various sources, Sigma puts marketers in control for faster insights and better decisions. With Sigma, marketing teams at enterprise and cloud-first companies, like Volta Charging, Migo, and Yesware, are able to easily access and analyze data across channels
and campaigns in real time. Sigma enables marketers to measure and defend spend, forecast, and deliver high-quality leads to sales, create personalized customer journeys, analyze buyer behavior, and much more.“We now make decisions based on data we see in Sigma,” said Yesware VP of Sales and Marketing Ian Adams. “Before it was difficult to separate which users were coming from a pure acquisition basis and which were recommended from existing accounts. We now have visibility into that and can easily track conversions across paid channels. We can finally tie together the complete buyer journey from the first impression with our brand to the time they buy and then even through customer lifecycle marketing.”

Campaign Performance Template

Leveraging data in a cloud data warehouse, Sigma’s new Campaign Performance template includes a pre-built dashboard and underlying worksheet with all of the live data powering the dashboard from sources, like Hubspot, Marketo, and Salesforce. The worksheet can be accessed in just one click from the dashboard, enabling marketers to explore raw data at the lowest level of detail and generate new, meaningful visualizations that can be quickly added to the dashboard – no coding required. The template can be easily customized based on the specific requirements and deployed in seconds, saving time and resources, while accelerating onboarding and time-to-value for Marketing teams. “Marketers have been asking for more data access for years, but have been kept at an arm’s length from raw data, largely due to the limitations of legacy BI tools,” said Sigma Computing VP of Marketing Cristina Bravo Olmo. “We’re excited to bring more Marketers into the BI process and put them on the fast track to not only immediately see value from Sigma via dashboards, but also empower them to go beyond the dashboard and finally be able to securely explore governed, live data for new insights. Sigma is the only tool that makes it possible for marketers to be self-sufficient and independently analyze data from a variety of sources in a single pane because we meet them where their existing skills already lie with a spreadsheet-like UI experience, and we do that at cloud scale.”

Sigma recently released a Sales Analytics template and also provides templates for Snowflake Usage Dashboards and a Lacework dashboard that displays key security metrics. In Q1 2021, Sigma will release automapping for all of its templates, which enables 1-click warehouse selection, automated data discovery, and data mapping. Collectively, Sigma templates empower business teams to create their own dashboards and worksheets, accelerating time-to-value, insight discovery, and data-driven decisions.
